The silhouette is compact and slightly faceted, grounding the piece with a sense of strength and intention. What truly commands attention, though, is the glaze work. Vertical rivulets of turquoise and pale celadon cascade downward through rich rust, umber, and iron tones, creating the impression of molten material caught mid-flow. The glaze breaks and pools unpredictably, emphasizing gravity and movement, while the darker, matte base anchors the composition visually and physically.

Near the rim, the transition to a smoky, silvery-gray glaze adds contrast and refinement, giving the eye a place to rest before being drawn back into the dramatic surface below. The texture feels tactile and expressive—this is a piece that invites touch as much as observation.
